Recent Palomar Westwood Kimpton Review: "I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and loved each night I was there, the complaints I have are very minor in the grand scheme of things. I would definitely stay there again. The service at this hotel was great. I forgot a few toiletries and they brought up some complimentary items. I was impressed with the list of things they offer for free. The room itself was very clean and very comfortable, I am a clean freak and was surprised at how clean the bathroom was. The furniture, including bed and chaise lounge, was all very comfortable as well. The things I was not so happy with was the cost of parking, cost of room service, lack of coffee and water in room and wait for valet parking. The other hotels I researched offered non-valet parking and I thought this one did too. It was my error but the cost was high for this. Room service was also very expensive, I guess that's to be expected though. I did expect a small coffee maker in my room but that wasn't a make or break amenity. There are alternatives, there's are plenty of options nearby for meals and coffee though. Finally, the wait for my car. The staff said I should call ahead for my car and I did but I still waited about 20 minutes for my car. I was practically late for the event I was there for to begin with. These are really things I'm digging deep to complain about but they don't impact how I feel about this hotel."
